Matthew, thanks for the kind words. We're still -- knock on wood -- doing very well and we consider ourselves lucky.

My wife ran across your blog the other day and said I had to read it. She was right.

Our daughter has a different form of epilepsy. Although it's completely different from Gavin's, my wife and I know exactly what you've gone through.

You guys have been through a lot. Hell and back again. I'm glad things are looking so good. Actually, considering the date of your blog, I should probably say that I hope things are still looking so good.

Keep up the good work!

I suppose there's an element of guilt here -- we're doing well while other families have struggled with Doose Syndrome for far longer with less success. I realize that this is an irrational, hand-wringing response considering that the misfortunes of others has no relationship with our status -- but it is an emotional speed-bump nonetheless.

Man that's good news, Rant. It's great to see Gavin looking like a little boy back on track. I'd say y'all have been blessed. Prayers of thanksgiving would not be out of place at all.
